The Polo

‘The matches are fast and furious, and the extra-large orange ball, designed not to get lost in the sand, flies around at speeds of up to 100mph..’
The Guardian

Polo played in an enclosed arena has been referred to as ‘Ice Hockey on Horse Back’. Spectators are close to the action – they can fully appreciate the horsemanship, speed and gladiatorial nature of Polo. The polo ponies love the sand - they can accelerate and stop fast and can turn extremely sharply. The thrill and excitement of horses galloping on the sand with the English Channel as a backdrop, whilst sipping champagne amongst glamorous company, is a vision to remember – an intoxicating mix. Polo players engage with the sponsors and spectators both on and off the pitch.
