Those driving to the event should consider parking away from the Sandbanks Peninsula.  One option is to make use of the Parking Spaces in and around Poole Bus Station.  From there, on the hour, the Number 52 bus takes you straight to Sandbanks in about 30 mins! Poole Tourism has a variety of local hotels and B&Bs. Please note that there is no camping allowed on the beach or in the car park. For Sandpolo’s ‘Preferred Places to Stay’ list please email info@sandpolo.com

Smart casual – you will look out of place in jeans, trainers or sportswear!  All seating is uncovered - please dress appropriately.

Ladies! please bring suitable shoes as some parts of the site are on sand and access to the site will require you to walk accross the beach.

There will be a variety of good quality, reasonably priced food and beverages at the event throughout the day. No food or drinks (other than water) is to be brought into the event area.

Guests will be welcome to leave the event at any stage to take advantage of the other catering outlets on or near the beach. Sandpolo hospitality guests will be catered for throughout in the Arena Marquee. Please do not bring any glass to the event.

Please do NOT smoke in the grandstand. Movement is to be kept to a minimum during play.

Sandbanks offers the ‘beach wheelchair scheme’. Disabled spectators with special requirements are asked to call Sandpolo (07796 693796) to discuss their needs.

Dogs are banned from the beach completely at the time of the event.

The daytime polo is open to all ages, the party at the beach polo from 7pm with be an over 18's event only

Bags may be checked by the event organisers at any time.  Cancellation of the event will only take place if extreme circumstances make it unsafe to play.  The event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove ticket holders from the event without giving a reason.  No glass is to be taken onto the beach.  

Hot tips for the sun - don’t forget to: Slip (on a long sleeved T-shirt) Slap (on a broad brimmed hat) and Slop (on some sun cream) For your own safety and for the safety of others please stay away from the horses.

Please Note: Tickets for Sandpolo 2013 are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

Check your tickets when they arrived as mistakes are less likely
to be rectified nearer the time.

Please also look after tickets as duplicates will not be issued and there will be no access without the correct tickets.

No monies can be refunded under any circumstances.

Please note a seat ticket is required for children unless
they are under 2 years old.

Ticket holders consent to the photographing, recording and filming
of themselves as event attendees.
